We are excited and thrilled to have Mr. Brian Hollis as our first guest speaker. Mr. Hollis is an alumnus of St. Mary’s. He left St. Mary’s and his STEM path led him to a highly successful tenure as a Mechanical Engineer at General Motors. Mr. Hollis’ love for STEM and his drive to help others achieve their dreams led him to open his own patent law firm, RMCK Intellectual Property Law Group. The law firm has is recognized as an industry leader and has an impressive roster of clients that include Stellantis, Eaton, Google and many others.

Brian has been practicing in the field of Intellectual Property law for over 15 years. He advises clients on issues relating to patent strategy and portfolio management. His practice primarily concentrates on preparing and prosecuting patent applications in various technical fields, including the mechanical, electro-mechanical, software and controls arts. Brian also counsels clients regarding patentability, invalidity, infringement, and freedom-to-practice opinions. Brian brings a valued understanding of engineering challenges from his experiences in his former career as a chassis validation engineer at an automotive Original Equipment Manufacturer. Prior to joining RMCK Law Group, Brian was a principal at a large law firm specializing in Intellectual Property.
